About Me

I was born in 1973 in Sandpoint, Idaho, but I spent the majority of my childhood in a quaint little beach town in southern Sweden. After graduating high school I returned to America and attended the University of Washington in Seattle. While attending college, I found a job at an Assisted Living facility, it was here, caring for six physically and mentally disabled adults that I realized my love for caretaking extended past just family members and friends. After college I decided to pursue a career in the corporate world. Technology was exploding and after a few years working for big companies like IBM and Microsoft, in 2000 I decided to move to the Bay Area and join the startup boom. I quickly advanced within my field of Quality Assurance (software testing) and by the end of 2000, I was a young QA Director and I had just met my future husband.

Andy and I married in 2003, and by November 2004, we welcomed our first daughter. I had always wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and felt privileged at the opportunity to make this dream come true. By 2011 we had grown to a family of six, and I stayed busy with school, sports, and volunteering. In 2023, my oldest went off to college and my youngest started middle school. After 9 years of volunteering at my children’s elementary school, the time had come to end this chapter and to rejoin the workforce. I decided it was time to make another dream come true. My dream to help seniors regain some independence by offering them an array of skilled services in a friendly atmosphere. Quality Concierge Services is my dream, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
